The Coral Coast

We came with big expectations of snorkelling and have not been disappointed. It has just been a wonderland of coral reefs and tropical fish  - ranging in size from a five-cent piece to tropical fish on steroids. Fish, turtles, sting rays, sea snakes and starfish. All so abundant and all from the shore.

The little known Quobba Point (what a great name) was one of the best spots we visited, we had a couple of days at Coral Bay and more at the beautiful beautiful paradise of Cape Range NP where the water is a such a clear blue.

The camp ground at Cape Range was just paradise. Even Luke had a snorkel and was so proud of seeing starfish (bright red starfish) by himself.
